Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 benchmark scores revealed, beats A19 Pro in multi-core
Qualcomm’s next-gen chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, has surfaced in leaked Geekbench 6 benchmark scores, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from this flagship processor. According to the reliable source Digital Chat Station, the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is expected to deliver over 4,000 in single-core and more than 11,000 in multi-core performance.
These numbers mark a significant jump over the current Snapdragon 8 Elite, which averages around 3,100 and 9,800, respectively. This means a performance boost of about 20–30% in single-core and 10–15% in multi-core tasks.
Apple’s upcoming A19 Pro chip, powering the iPhone 17 Pro series, is also tipped to hit the 4,000 single-core mark, but the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 appears to outperform it in multi-core tests, with Apple expected to hit around 10,000.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is set to launch in late September, alongside Apple’s A19 Pro and MediaTek’s next flagship chip. Tech enthusiasts can expect a fierce battle in mobile processing power this fall.
