Realme has officially launched the Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition, an upgraded version of its GT 7 Pro, introducing notable changes in camera, display, storage, and battery performance. This new edition is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and offers a refreshed design with a dual-camera setup instead of the triple-camera system found in the standard version.
Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition: Key Features & Upgrades
Camera & Imaging
- The standard Realme GT 7 Pro features a triple-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, 50MP telephoto, and 8MP ultrawide lens.
- The GT 7 Pro Racing Edition omits the telephoto sensor and uses a Sony IMX896 sensor for its 50MP primary camera.
- The 16MP selfie camera remains unchanged.

Display Enhancements
- The original GT 7 Pro boasted a Samsung Eco2 OLED Plus display with 120% DCI-P3 coverage and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
- The Racing Edition features a screen with 100% DCI-P3 coverage and an optical fingerprint reader instead.
Performance & Storage
- A significant upgrade comes in storage, with the Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition featuring UFS 4.1 storage (faster than the UFS 4.0 found in the standard GT 7 Pro), improving data transfer speeds and multitasking performance.
Battery & Charging
- The Racing Edition introduces bypass charging, allowing users to power the device directly from the charger while reducing heat buildup, ideal for extended gaming and heavy usage sessions.
