Google Pixel 10 Series to Feature Gimbal-Like Stabilization Without the Gimbal

The Google Pixel 10 series is set to introduce a major camera breakthrough with gimbal-like image stabilization, offering smooth, shake-free videos without any physical gimbal. According to a new report by Android Headlines, the Pixel 10 will deliver a video experience similar to using a DJI Osmo Mobile 6—without actually needing one.

The Pixel 10 lineup, which includes the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, is expected to retain most camera sensors from the Pixel 9 series. However, the standard Pixel 10 may get an upgrade with a dedicated telephoto lens. This enhancement, paired with the new image stabilization tech, aims to significantly boost mobile photography and videography.

Google had earlier teased the Pixel 10 series at a “Pixel Penthouse” event for Superfans, fueling speculation of an early launch. However, current leaks suggest an official unveiling on August 20, pushing expectations higher for the next-gen Pixel phones.
